  1. Timeclock Alerts

    As we do not always have access to our PCs it would be good to receive text alerts for when a volunteer starts and finishes their shift. Is this something that could be considered? I understand the you can log into the website from smart devices but alerts would be much simpler for coordinators.

  2. Timeclock Alerts to monitor offsite volunteering from a safety perspective

    Timeclock alerts in the form of a text message would be extremely beneficial for our organisation. A text alert to an administrator where a volunteer has not logged off the clock within a predetermined timeframe would help the admin monitor offsite volunteering particular on weekends and after hours. Upgrading the timeclock feature in this way would enhance its use considerably by enabling it to double as both a tool to quantify volunteer activity/hours but also as a tool which supports admins to monitor offsite volunteering from a safety perspective. i.e. where a volunteer has not clocked off within the predetermined…

  3. Drop down clock for Log Off

    Many Volunteers forget to Log off at the end of each shift. It would be great if there was a "Drop down Date/Clock feature" were they could scroll back and clock off at the correct day and time.

  4. COVID Declaration on signing in

    It would be good to have a declaration at the start of the volunteer's first shift back to say that they agree to practice COVID-Safe work practices. This could be a one-off tick box.

  5. Individual Volunteer message display when clocking off

    It would be great to be able to have an individual message pop on when a Volunteer clocks off, such as 'please come and see us before you go" or "don't forget to collect your letter". It is great having the personal message for a Volunteer but it can only be seen when they clock in. thanks

  6. On "Volunteers on the Clock", be able to see volunteers that are clocked IN and OUT for the day.

    It would be helpful to see all volunteers that have been on the clock for that day, both who are currently clocked in and have maybe clocked in/out for the day already.

  7. enterprise accounts and qr codes

    Having an express timeclock link at the Enterprise level to save having individual express timeclock links

    At the moment for enterprise account holders it would mean they would have to get all the express timeclock links and create unique bookmarks for each of them and then open a tab for each account/timeclock and instruct the volunteer to click on the appropriate timeclock tab where they will find themselves according to the role that they are doing. If one of the volunteers accidentally closed one or more of the timeclock tabs they wouldn't know how to get them back up creating…

    Change the word "Login" to Username or PIN on the Better Impact app. Some of my volunteers don't understand that they also have to LOGIN to clock out. (face palm) Thank you!

  9. Make inactive mean that volunteers CANNOT log in if they are inactive

    Please make it so that inactive volunteers cannot log in and out on the timeclock! We have 100+ longterm activities so we schedule out our volunteers for 1 year at a time so we don't give away their spots on schedules and departments have coverage. If volunteers do not do their annual education and flu shots we have been making them inactive thinking that would prevent them from logging in. We were wrong. Some are still logging in which is a violation of Joint Commission and hospital policy. If we take away their future assignments we run the risk of…

  10. Prevent starting time clock before shift start time

    Prevent starting of the time clock if the activity they are clocking has not actually started. Currently it allows them to log hours in the future, despite choosing a setting that claims to prevent this.

    Whether inadvertent or deliberate, it creates totally unnecessary administration to fix the error.

  11. Volunteer Log In - Give volunteers access to schedule in for shifts on the clock in page

    Volunteers come in to clock in for their scheduled shifts, but often people want to schedule in for their next shift right then at the sign in kiosk computer. Please add the "Opportunities Calendar" and the volunteer's "Schedule" as an option on the "Clock In" or Time Clock page.

    You can have volunteers use of the mobile site (and enable the mobile timeclock on your kiosks) in order to accomplish this! For this reason, we are declining your suggestion.

  12. Workplace Chat

    It would be great if volunteers could see who else is currently on the clock so that they could contact them for help or to catch up for lunch. We have workplace chat through facebook, but it would be good if Better Impact had a chat system so that volunteers could contact eachother.

  13. Check out reminder

    Auto send reminder to volunteers that have checked in and not checked out within a certain timeframe ie. 2 hours and then 6 hours after check in. This is now legislated in several Canadian provinces.

  14. Specify if hours should be logged under category or specific activity

    It would be helpful if when creating an activity category administrators could have a setting to specify whether hours should be logged under the category name or under each individual activity name.

    For example, our volunteers help with horseback riding lessons which are scheduled for 1 hour each and the activities are built with the type of help the volunteer is providing and the name of the rider or horse they are working with because volunteers may need different levels of training based on the rider or horse. For example an activity would be "Horse Leader - Peppy" or "Sidewalker…

  17. Automatic Hours Logging: Log slightly before end of shift?

    I absolutely LOVE the new automatic hour logging feature, but I don't know if it's possible to have the hours logged a few minutes before the end of their shift (even 15 mins?)

    Our staff and volunteers finish at the same time, so we can't approve the hours until the following morning, which does cause a bit of potential miscommunication. Having them logged even a few minutes before the end of a shift would allow our staff to wrap up the day's approvals while they are closing for the day.

  18. Ability to display the activity's feedback fields on the start Timeclock page

    The feedback fields for an activity are displayed only on the stop Timeclock screen. I need the ability to have them displayed on the start Timeclock screen and be able to specify which feedback fields for the activity to display on the start Timeclock screen as well as the stop Timeclock screen.
    As an example, when the volunteer starts the timeclock, I need for him to provide his starting mileage, vehicle license plate number, telephone number, and vehicle color. When he stops the timeclock, I need for him to provide his ending mileage.

  20. Admin access to ALL Volunteers in Timeclock

    Admins should have access to ALL volunteer profiles through the timeclock.

    At this time, logging hours is a LONG and tedious process, and granting access to admins so a volunteer coordinator can check volunteers in with one click would GREATLY improve the Timeclock feature.

    I would like to log into the Timeclock, search for a volunteer by first name, last name, activity, OR date, and then simply click "Check-in" next to their name and time slot. Then the hours in that slot for which they signed up are automatically logged in their profile.
