We can’t do it all but we do like to focus our efforts on the ways we can make your job easier.

You can search through the suggestions that are already in the system to see if the one on your mind has already been suggested. If it has, vote for it! The number of votes will be one of the factors we consider as we plan ongoing upgrades to the software. You have a limited number of votes. You can use up to three votes on any one idea.

You might not hear back from us but you can be certain that we pay close attention to what you suggest.

  1. Hours in view only option

    Need an option to allow a limited admin role to view hours to complete verification requests that we receive from outside sources. This person would need no other access other than person's name, phone and email.

  2. Allow Account holders to enter activities that must be approved at the Enterprise level

    In order to discourage incorrect or inaccurate activities posted, the Accounts could be set up so that all new activities need to approved at the Enterprise level before they can be utilized.

  3. Keyword searching from MVP page login

    Add a filter setting for keyword searches in the MVP.com site. This would allow for volunteers to look up unassigned activities instead of scrolling and scrolling and scrolling...

  4. week view of volunteers

    Currently here is no way to create a nice looking view of the volunteer schedule by week. There is a month view that I like, but there is no way to narrow down the dates to just one week and print it out. The date select report gives a long list that is hard to read. I need the report to be presentable since I post it around the food pantry for the volunteers to see who they are working with

  5. Summary Page or Face sheet.

    It would be easier to have one front page where we can find and edit all the information we need to know instantly about a volunteer. Ex: name, address, phone, email, start and end date, placement meeting, on the clock, type of volunteer, placement, vest deposit etc... It would be more helpful if we have it all in one page without scrolling up and down or moving from one page to the other.

  6. Time frame options on Manual Hours Entry

    Would like to see a requirement for volunteers to enter the times they served, not just the amount of hours on the manual hours entry page. For example, from 12:35p to 1:45p. Our organization likes to verify their hours by knowing the times. This would be EXTREMELY helpful for our reporting.

  7. Ability to bulk delete uncategorized actitivities

    As a theater venue we have hundreds of categories each season and each category has up to 11 activities associated with it. We are able to bulk delete the logged hours but we can't bulk delete the uncategorized activities. So we have to delete each activity manually - very time consuming

  8. Looking for the home page to be redesigned so that the news is closer to the top of the page.

    When volunteers sign in all they see is their name and the top of the page. If they don't scroll down they don't see my updated news post. If the volunteers name and picture were moved all the way to the right above the “Get Social” box that would leave room for the news section to be moved up on the screen

  9. Export Volunteer Schedules as Mail Merge Labels

    Just like Mail Merge allows the creation of standard sized (Avery) mailing labels, it would be great to be able to create volunteer shift labels to be attached to the back of volunteers' name tags.

    Criteria: first and last name; dates with option for simplified (4/7/2016), short (Mon. Jul. 4) or full (Monday, July 4, 2016); check box to select fields to show (ActivityCategory, ActivityName,ShiftStartDate, ShiftStartTime, end, etc...); Show dates as headers, and sort chronologically. Auto-size font to fit.

  11. Customize current message to show one for applicants and one for in-process

    The ability to restrict the current message to only accepted volunteers is wonderful. I'm wondering if it's possible to have three separate messages: one for applicants, one for in-process, and one for accepted volunteers.

    This way, we can customize messages better- some things apply only to applicants, while others apply to in-process or accepted.

  12. "Last Month" and "This Month" columns under Client >> Connections >> Associated Volunteers

    In the client's profile under "Connections" >> "Associated Volunteers" it would be very helpful for reviewing and keeping on top of volunteers to have two more "Hours" columns:
    Hours Last Month
    Hours This Month
    It would be great if this were under both the "Volunteers" and "Activities" headers.
    I would envision this being very similar to the Comparisons section on the main page where you can see the hours from the previous month and the current month as well as the total all time hours.

    I love the new client-volunteer and client-activity relationships!

  13. Admins & Volunteers can filter based on shift and day of the week, what about a date range filter?

    Admins & Volunteers can already filter based on shift and day of the week, what about adding a date range filter? It would be nice to say I wanted to volunteer on Tue & Thurs at 12-5 for the months of July and Aug. This would reduce the number of clicks to assign or volunteer.

  14. Calendar Details when synced to Google

    When you sync the shift to your calendar, just the activity title goes. If we could at least hover over and get the activity information, that would be helpful. We put venue info in the description and it does not go with the activity onto the calendar.

  15. Bulk activity update to a date range of assignments.

    We need to be able to update old assignments to make them inactive, and we need a way to mass update that information for a range of dates.

  16. Ability to see if applicant already approved for another dept. This would eliminate duplicate work & expense.

    There is no way for say the library to tell if a person who just applied has already been approved to work say in the Parks dept. So we run them through background check AGAIN at a cost to the city. THEN we find out they were already approved in another dept. We would not have to see all the details, just be able to ID those applicants.

  17. Change the format of the calendar used to indicate age of volunteer

    Too many volunteers are not putting in correct birth date. The calendar format seems counter intuitive requiring month, year, and then day choices while we usually think month, day, year. If you try month, day, year sequence the system defaults to year 2016 and volunteers move on thinking everything is complete. Can you change the format of the calendar

  19. Expand Quick Search Results

    Right now if I use quick search for a volunteer with first name Ann it only gives me results up to the letter K in the last name. I am missing the rest of my volunteers. It would be nice to show all names and then let me use the scroll bar to see the rest of the volunteers.

  20. Ability to update multiple qualifications/custom fields at once.

    In bulk qualification/custom field updates, it would be nice to have the ability to select multiple qualifications or custom fields from a list and update them all at once, rather than pick them one at a time from a drop-down.
