Making Limited Admin Roles more customizable
As we move to giving department leads limited access to the system (to pull reports/schedules/emergency contact), one issue we are running into is being able to limit the amount of information they can have access to in custom fields.
For example, a department lead/supervisor needs to be able to see emergency contact information, but does not need access to their T-Shirt size (for uniforms) or knowing how they heard about the volunteer opportunity.
It would be helpful to be able to narrow it down further, rather than blanket access.

Yes, right now we are having to reconstuct our entire use of Volunteer Impact due to this (or lack thereof). Our custom fields across all types of volunteers collects very personal data on our volunteers. Limited admin roles should not just be an "all or nothing" for custom fields. ie. the limited admin either sees all of the custom fields or none. Also, you then have to toggle off custom fields for the reporting, too. So they are limited on what they can report on. This poses great issue for our organization because then only a few people can have full admin access and everyone else must be limited with custom field access turned off leaving the full access admin to constantly micro manage and communicate with the limited admin on the specifics of a volunteer - rather than only assigning them certain volunteers and certain custom field access...........
