We can’t do it all but we do like to focus our efforts on the ways we can make your job easier.

You can search through the suggestions that are already in the system to see if the one on your mind has already been suggested. If it has, vote for it! The number of votes will be one of the factors we consider as we plan ongoing upgrades to the software. You have a limited number of votes. You can use up to three votes on any one idea.

  1. Volunteer Dashboard on Enterprise page

    It would be helpful to have a dashboard that combined all the info from all of the accounts in one place: Volunteers, Clients and Admins.

  2. Add which organisation a Volunteer represents when viewing home page notifications

    Enterprise Level - Custom Field Approvals, Qualification Approvals, Expired Qualifications, Expiring Qualifications and Birthdays are all currently in list form with no way of viewing their organisation (without opening each Volunteer individually of course). Would be a real time saver to see these in the overview.

  3. enterprise overview of administrators

    We need to be able to have a quick overview of all administrators across all our accounts and what admin level they have. Can we please have an option to create a report for that?

    Master Calendar with READ ONLY view that you can embed on your WEBSITE!

    It's easier to recruit volunteers and have them fill out the Better Impact application when they can see the fun volunteer activities that are planned. Because of covid, we are not allowed to have ANY public activities- everyone must be signed up first.

  5. Full Admin Access with the ability to limit People access within certain accounts

    Currently the Full Admins can access all records in any account (from the enterprise level). We need the ability to grant Full Admin access to select administrators but choose which records they can access at the Enterprise level (similar to the Security Group feature).

  6. Ability to restrict who can edit categories at enterprise level

    It would be great if we could restrict who can edit catergories at an enterprise level. We have about 20 accounts and it is really hard to manage consistency with so many administrators. Guidelines can only do so much.

    Ability to add admin status when adding a profile to an additional organization (rather than only being allowed to add as a volunteer). Right now the only option when adding a profile to an additional org is to add them as a volunteer applicant. I would also like to be able to add an admin AND choose the level at this point instead of then having to go and manage the status at the individual org level.

  9. Adding an administrator without making them a volunteer first

    Whenever I need to add an admin to a data set, it would make my job easier if I did not need to first add them as a volunteer. The site gets an alert there is a new applicant and they start their process- when it is not really an applicant. Can we not just add them as an admin from the enterprise level?

  10. Enterprise wide activities

    Have the ability to create enterprise wide activities that show up in select organizations, but are managed at the enterprise level.

    For example, a volunteer appreciation event that volunteers from all associated accounts can sign up for, but can be managed in one place at the enterprise level instead of separate events in each of the various accounts.

  11. general interest report at the enterprise level

    We would like to be able to run a report at the Enterprise level to see what general interests have been listed over a specific time-frame. This way we can show stakeholders how many new listings have been posted over the course of a year.

  12. Include organisation in an export from Enterprise level

    When I open a volunteer profile at Enterprise level I can see all of the organisations that a volunteer belongs to. But when I export from the Enterprise level I cannot display the organisations. Exporting from all of the organisation accounts and putting together in Excel is messy and means that duplicates are encountered.

    The Profile Association Export tries to do this but is very restrictive on searching and columns displayed, so not really useful.

  13. Please make the 'item' field and viewing box in the Configuration - Custom Field area bigger.

    Currently, when you try and create a Custom Field and items to a drop down list to go with it, you only have a very small field to add/edit your item. Also the list of items that you have added is in a tiny box so if you have several hundred items, you have to use the arrow to go up and down each item. You also can’t see the full name of the item because the box is so small. I would greatly appreciate it if you can consider my request for this box/field to be larger.

  14. Enterprise Settings >> General Settings

    In the General Settings, Allow the Enterprise Admin the ability to change the order of the labels in the search settings. For example allow the admin to move the label "Type of Organization" to the top of the list.

    switching accounts in an Enterprise Account from the "Main" tab. Having another box open up when you hover over "Switch Accounts" instead of it going back to the main page where you then have to select the account

  16. Ability to only show enterprise messages in certain accounts

    Currently an enterprise message can either be displayed in all or none of the accounts. It would be helpful if it is possible to select which accounts the message is displayed in, e.g. if it is relevant to 3 our of 6 account rather than having to individually update the messages in three accounts.

  17. Choose the order of impact and enterprise level custom fields on individual impact accounts

    At the moment, if we set custom fields (CFs) at enterprise level, these will always show up at the very top for all the associated Impact administrators. That means that staff wanting to see program-specific information have to scroll down through all the standardised CFs (eg. licences, induction, training, reference checks, exit interviews etc) which won't work for people working closely with their vols and needing to see program information fast. It would be very helpful to be able to choose to place some Impact CFs at the top for daily use, while keeping standardised CFs for the organisation for…

  19. Allow Account holders to enter activities that must be approved at the Enterprise level

    In order to discourage incorrect or inaccurate activities posted, the Accounts could be set up so that all new activities need to approved at the Enterprise level before they can be utilized.

  20. More options in basic search fields in Profile Association Export

    In Profile Association Export report it would be good to have more options in the basic search fields especially phone and cell phone.
    We are a volunteer referral service and we print monthly reports for staff who do not have access to computers and need to contact applicant volunteers. Using this report we can see all the volunteers who have been recommended to individual organisations during a particular time frame without having to print from individual organisations.Using the date joined field we then filter that data in the spreadsheet.
