There should be a function that creates an email to volunteers to confirm that they have signed up for a shift; otherwise how do they know that they indeed have been chosen for that shift? We have to let them know and this takes admin time. It would be great for this to be automated, and as a new user to this system, I am actually quite surprised that it is not. Also many volunteer roles require certain specific details so this type of functionality would allow for us to create a template email and have it sent once people sign up such as
you have been confirmed to Usher for "insert Show Name, Time Date Here" Please remember To........" thank you for helping us out with this show.
